Activities may involve annexation, rezoning, subdivision, site plan, PUD, special exception, variance, condemnation, environmental and historic preservation proceedings. We work with architects, engineers, planners, surveyors and government officials to optimize plans and presentations. The firm also prepares covenants, easements and homeowner and business association agreements.

Representative Transactions:

• Represented property owners and developers in reversing adverse zoning decisions for 1,000-lot subdivision.

• Assisted developers in obtaining annexation and rezoning for mixed-use and golf course developments.

• Assisted with land assembly and rezoning and negotiated covenants and leases for a multi-anchor shopping center containing several national retailers.

• Drafted initial County Zoning Ordinance.

• Developed procedures to facilitate local government's compliance with state-mandated zoning ethics statute.

• Served as Special Master in zoning disputes.

• Represented numerous clients in land use and zoning litigation, including state and federal courts.
